EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Public Library will host a special bilingual story time program on Sunday, Nov. 23 from 2-3 p.m.

The program will feature stories that reflect on the Dinka tribal culture of southern Sudan. Participants will learn how to say simple words in the Dinka language, enjoy treats and make a drum to take home.

This program is for all ages and it is free. The program directly ties in with East Lansing’s 2008 One Book, One Community selection: “They Poured Fire on Us From the Sky: The True Story of Three Lost Boys from Sudan.”
