IBM Global Delivery Center Comes to East Lansing
The State of Michigan and IBM, in close partnership with MSU, have announced the creation of a Global Delivery Center to be located on East Lansing's MSU campus. It is estimated that the move will create up to 1,500 new direct and indirect jobs in Michigan over the next five years.

ELPD Conducts Warrant Sweep, Arrests 47 People
A warrant sweep conducted by the East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) over the past two and a half weeks has resulted in the arrest of 47 individuals and the closing of 70 warrants.

ELFD Receives $531,000 Grant
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded a $531,000 Assistance to Firefighters Grant to the East Lansing Fire Department (ELFD).

Children's Concert Series
The winter/spring Children's Concert Series will take place at 11 a.m. on Feb. 7, 14 and 21 at the E.L. Hannah Community Center.

Call to Artists: Arts Commission Seeks Submissions for Artist Registry
The Arts Commission is currently seeking artists to submit qualifications for its artist registry, which will be used as a means for reviewing qualifications when selecting artists to be considered for future public art projects. Public Art Gallery Showcases Photographer Shkelqim Dani
The Public Art Gallery presents painter S. Dani in an exhibit entitled “Inspirations,” which is described as abstract expressionism inspired by life, color and music, Feb. 1-26, at the E.L. Hannah Community Center. Learn more.
